I am a stay at home mom with elementary school teaching experience that includes preschool, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades. My passion within teaching has always been teaching young children how to read and giving them the foundation for reading success as they grow through their elementary school years. Not only does Pre K Scholars give 4 and 5 year olds the foundation for reading, it goes beyond language arts and includes math, science, art, social studies and more, making it a very well-rounded program. When I discovered Pre K Scholars, it was the perfect opportunity for me to continue to stay home with my two boys, but to also continue teaching! I held an 8-week course this summer which included students who had never been to any preschool and students who had already been attending some form of preschool or daycare.
